Pakistan ceasefire violation

Pakistan has been accused of violating ceasefire agreements with India, particularly along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, for various strategic and tactical reasons. This LOC create in the year 1947 under Congress leader Jawaharlal Nehru. As a prime minister he decided to settle this case in United Nation.

Internal pressure

The Pakistani military has significant influence over national security and foreign policy. Escalations at the LoC can help the military justify its dominance and budgets. Most of the power in pakistan by the military. Every major decision in Pakistan over international disputes is taken by military officials.

Kashmir issue

Pakistan has consistently supported what it calls the “freedom struggle” in Kashmir. Ceasefire violations are part of a broader, long-standing policy of contesting Indian control over the region. We know that in 1947 Pakistan attack on Kashmir and capture some area. But after the instrument of accessions sign by Hari  Singh with India Indian army stops them at the line of control. Behind the line of control the area is occupied by Pakistan. Today this area is known as Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This international disputes between Pakistan and India send into the United Nation. There is no solution found till today.
